The Power of Your Public Narrative — 2025 Mini Cohort Recap

Your story has power.

This spring, BCAN kicked off the year with The Power of Your Public Narrative — a four-week Mini Cohort inspired by the Harvard-developed Public Narrative method. Over the course of the program, Baltimore creatives learned to shape and share their Stories of Self, Us, and Now, connecting personal purpose to collective impact.

The cohort culminated in a Public Narrative Showcase, a night full of laughter, deep truths, and genuine connection. These creatives didn’t just show up — they showed out.

We’re deeply grateful to this inaugural group for setting the tone for the rest of the year, and to @sandyhoangoc, Nizar, and Coinnovate Consulting for their partnership and guidance in making it all possible.

Stay tuned for future BCAN Mini Cohorts and events — more stories, more growth, and more creative power to come.

The Art of Sharing — 2025 Mini Cohort Recap

Your creativity deserves to be seen without selling your soul.

This summer, BCAN hosted The Art of Sharing — our second Mini Cohort of the year — designed for artists and creatives ready to build an authentic online presence.

Over four sessions in June and July, participants explored how to share their work with clarity, set boundaries with intention, and cultivate a digital presence that feels true to who they are — grounded in identity, values, and creative purpose.

Led by the brilliant @shaunakhenson, this hybrid cohort created a space for reflection, vulnerability, and growth. Together, creatives unpacked what it means to show up authentically in digital spaces — no pressure to perform, no need to conform.

We’re grateful to every participant who showed up and shared so openly. You reminded us that authenticity is strategy, and storytelling is power.

Stay tuned for upcoming BCAN Mini Cohorts and programs that continue to uplift Baltimore’s creative community.

Your creativity deserves a plan as bold as your vision.

This summer, BCAN launched BCAN Bridge — a six-session Mini Cohort designed for recent MICA alumni ready to shape a creative life and business with purpose.

Led by Najah Ellington and Radiah Rhodes of Evók Life, participants explored how to align their vision, values, and strategy to build sustainable creative practices on their own terms.

Over six weeks, this hybrid program guided creatives through personalized life and business planning, goal setting, and mindset work — helping them find clarity, confidence, and balance without the hustle or overwhelm.

We’re proud of this inaugural group for laying strong foundations for what’s next in their creative journeys.
